We believe great mentorship shouldn't be a luxury
The best engineers got there because someone sat beside them and explained things. We're building a company that makes that experience available to anyone with an internet connection.
Turn curiosity into capability
Most people who try to learn to code give up — not because they aren't smart enough, but because they get stuck alone. A broken environment, an error no one explains, a tutorial that assumes too much. Frustration compounds until quitting feels easier than continuing.
CodeMine exists to remove that loneliness. We pair every learner with an AI mentor that is endlessly patient, adapts to their pace, and refuses to just hand over answers. Our measure of success is simple: did you build something you're proud of, and can you explain why it works?

The people behind CodeMine
Rahul Singla
Rahul spent nearly a decade building learning products and engineering teams before starting CodeMine. He has mentored hundreds of early-career developers and kept seeing the same story: talented people held back by a lack of accessible guidance. CodeMine is his answer to that — a mentor for everyone, priced for real life in India.
He leads product vision, curriculum, and partnerships from the company's home in Mohali, Punjab.
Neetu Jindal
Neetu is a machine-learning engineer who has shipped AI systems for education and developer tooling. She leads the team building CodeMine's mentor — the models, the pedagogy, and the safety guardrails that keep it helpful without ever doing the learner's thinking for them.
She is a firm believer that the best AI in education is the kind you forget is AI at all: it just feels like a teacher who knows you.
How we got here
The idea
Rahul and Neetu meet while mentoring at a local developer meetup in Mohali. They sketch an AI tutor that guides instead of answers, on the back of a notebook.
The first prototype
A working mentor is tested with 200 learners. 88% finish their first project — far above typical online-course completion rates.
Open beta
CodeMine opens to the public. Within months, 12,400 learners across India join and the Pro plan launches.
Growing, still guided by the mission
We're a small, focused team in Punjab building the mentor we wish we'd had when we started.
What we stand for
Learners first
If a feature doesn't make someone a better programmer, it doesn't ship.
Honest by default
Clear pricing, real limitations, no dark patterns. Trust is the product.
Build in the open
We share what we learn and ship quickly, in public.
Rooted in Punjab
Building world-class software from Mohali, for learners everywhere.
